Depardon & Nougaret Inspirations

Since 2010, more than 10,000 children and young people have been inspired by the work of Raymond Depardon and Claudine Nougaret to photograph and film portraits of grandfathers, grandmothers and neighbors; also to explore the spaces of their urban and rural environments in Catalonia, Galicia, Euskadi, Madrid, València. Among them, we can highlight the trilogy Profils paysans and the book La terre des paysans. As part of the Docs d'Honor Award of DocsBarcelona 2024, we present a small sample of photographs and shots created by boys and girls in dialogue with these works.
