Synopsis

Witches, wizards, spells, and epic battles with rubber swords - for some this is all just fantasy, but for young Veera it is an important part of her life through her process of overcoming trauma. When she transforms into V, her alter ego, she enters a space of freedom that helps her fight her problems. LARP (live action role-playing) provides her with the support and comfort she needs to become the heroine in her own story.

Amidst the beautiful and solitary snowy Finish landscapes, Veera and her intellectually-disabled older brother will slowly find their way and the courage to face the true trauma of their past: an abusive and alcoholic father. An intimate and emotional journey into Veera’s world, where magic and reality intertwine without knowing where one begins and the other ends.
