Out

A powerful and moving film in which gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transsexual youths record their “coming out” through YouTube, Whatsapp, Skype, and other social networks.

Out is an x-ray of a courageous time, when different teenagers from around the world record the moment they explain their sexual orientation and gender identity to their families. The different social networks –YouTube, Whatsapp, Skype, become the necessary accomplices where the protagonists find the support to take this step. Through multiple testimonies recorded between 2012 and 2018, we see the efforts made by young people and their relatives’ reactions.
