Following the screening of ‘With Hasan in Gaza’, Palestinian filmmaker Mohamed Jabaly and Palestinian artist Jiana Awwad will converse with Palestinian archivist and expert on Palestinian cinema Rula Shahwan about the value of art, community and shared identity, and the importance of creating collective narratives that give voice to the resistance of peoples such as the Palestinians in the face of violence.
