Inequalities, Diversity and Power in Audiovisual Festivals

In the audiovisual field, festivals are privileged spaces that act as cultural gatekeepers, determining which films and filmmakers capture the attention of the media, the industry, and audiences season after season. In this training, we will focus on identifying the main dynamics of inequality reproduced in these spaces, both in terms of programming and, especially, in labor conditions. At the same time, we will examine the structural factors that sustain these inequalities and introduce tools for prevention and transformation that can help us create more equitable and diverse working environments.
