The Rough-Cut Pitch is an online event where a selection of 4 projects at rough-cut stage will be presented in front of a large panel of decision makers from all over the world.
Each project will make a 20-minute presentation, followed by 10 minutes of questions and feedbacks from the financiers. Financiers will have prior access to the project’s material including the trailer and selected scene. The projects and financiers will then have individual meetings.

Selection process

An international selection committee will evaluate the international potential, quality and cinematographic approach of the project. Furthermore, the committee will also focus on the theme of the documentary presented to ensure thematic and style diversity. The CV of the director, producer and production company will be also taken into consideration. DocsBarcelona is looking for experienced filmmakers and also for new talents.
The activity will be online and in English.

The industry activities of DocsBarcelona 2022 will take place between the 23rd and the 27th of May. The dates and times will be announced soon.
