The Speed Meeting is an online event where a selection of around 10 projects will have one-to-one meetings of 15 minutes with financiers and decision-makers. The meetings will be arranged beforehand by matching financiers and projects’ needs. They will take place over 2 days and the schedule will be adjusted to the different world time zones.

In solidarity with the filmmakers from Ukraine, DocsBarcelona in collaboration with DocuDays presents a selection of 5 Ukrainian projects.

Selection process

An international selection committee will evaluate the international potential, quality and cinematographic approach of the project. Furthermore, the committee will also focus on the theme of the documentary presented to ensure thematic and style diversity. The CV of the director, producer and production company will be also taken into consideration. DocsBarcelona is looking for experienced filmmakers and also for new talents.

The activity will be online and in English.

The industry activities of DocsBarcelona 2022 will take place between the 23rd and the 27th of May. The dates and times will be announced soon.
