The filmmaker Isabel Coixet will chair the jury of the Panorama section of the 26th edition of DocsBarcelona, which will take place from 18 to 28 May in the Catalan capital. Recognised with the National Cinematography Award for her extensive career and the Gold Medal for Fine Arts, she is the author of a documentary filmography in which titles such as Invisibles, Escuchando al Juez Garzón and the recent El Techo Amarillo stand out. Coixet also supports the production of projects by new female directors in order to promote the visibility of works directed by women in the world of cinema.

The Catalan director will be accompanied by Johanna Von Websky, coordinator of the Première Brazil and Wassermusik festivals, and currently a member of DOK.fest München; Saudde Cevallos, genre film distributor and post-production manager at Tukurfilms, and Tue Steen Müller, Danish documentary consultant and critic, awarded an honorary prize in 2022 for his work for DocsBarcelona over 25 years.

The jury of the Latitude section will be made up of the film journalist Javier Tolentino, director of the documentary Un blues para Teherán and with an extensive radio career, and the filmmakers Justin Webster (El fin de ETA, Muerte en León) and *Raquel Marques (A casa que eu quero, Arreta).

Maria Besora, director of the short film Animal salvatge (2021), Marina Freixa, filmmaker and editor specialising in documentary film and the socio-political impact of audiovisual work, and the director Pau García Pérez de Lara (Fuente Álamo, la caricia el tiempo, Bolboreta, mariposa, papallona) make up the jury of the DOC-U section. The Jurado Joven Reteena will be made up of audiovisual communication students Anna Borràs, Paula Cañeque, Mario Cervera, Laia Fiol and Silvia de Lera.

Once again this year, three members of Amnesty International Catalonia will award a prize to the film that, due to its subject matter, best involves the defence of the rights proclaimed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and freedom of expression, as well as showing a high cinematographic value in the struggle to transform reality. Alícia Artiaga, head of Administration and Finance, Inés Grau, from the digital fundraising area, and Quim Ruiz, former treasurer and secretary of the organisation's Executive Committee, will be responsible for awarding this year's prize.
