Synopsis

Three contemporary dancers want to create a choreography about the boundaries between sanity and madness and invite three women diagnosed with a mental disorder to participate in their creative process. The six women spend a few magical days in a rural house in Rentería (Basque Country) where they share their emotions and insecurities, their fears and their motivations. They talk about drugs, delusions and suicidal ideas. They also talk about loneliness, friendship and love. Then they bring these emotions to the body, transform them into movement. When the dancers premiere their piece at a dance festival, it becomes clear that this process has changed them profoundly. The boundaries between sanity and madness have become blurred and it is no longer so easy to know where one ends and the other begins.

Reviews

It moves away from the usual clichés in the treatment of mental health problems so that the viewer can decide for himself and, in all serenity, where is the line between normality and madness.
