Marta Espar

Marta Espar has been a scriptwriter and journalist specialising in health and science for 20 years. With a degree in Clinical Psychology and Journalism, she has written scripts for betevé, the German television Deutsche Welle, TV3, Mediapro and the International Olympic Channel. She was also RTVE’s Berlin correspondent. She wrote features for the health supplement of EL PAÍS and later for the Catalan newspaper ARA, as well as for the European Research Media Centre. Author of several books of interviews, she scripted and co-directed with the filmmaker Marc Parramon, the documentary Veus contra l'estigma, co-produced by Mediapro and Televisió de Catalunya (TV3).
