Mireia Prats

Mireia Prats i Riera, journalist graduated from the UAB (1993), worked as an ENG reporter for the TV3 news services for 25 years. Specialized in Religion and accredited with the “The Church Up Close” course by the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, she has frequently been sent as a special correspondent to the Vatican. She has also worked on the children’s and youth news program InfoK. She is the author of the 30 Minuts reports Una qüestió d’honor, Passi per caixa, and La revolució forestal. She co-directed the documentaries Et faran un home (2024) and Et faran un home. Morts silenciades (2025) for the program Sense Ficció. She was a television reporting lecturer for 11 years at the Blanquerna Faculty of Communication and International Relations. Previously, she worked as a writer and news journalist at TVE, Antena 3, and Tele 5.
