Marc Salicrú

Marc Salicrú (1993) is an intermedia artist, working as a scenographer, lighting designer, and drummer. His practice moves between the performing arts and visual arts, exploring the creation of hybrid spaces where audiences immerse themselves in order to abstract into murky realities that distort their everyday experiences and expectations in order to reimagine them.

In 2024, he created Teatres de Campanya, an artistic umbrella from which he develops actions, installations, and large-scale performances, while continuing his individual practice. His first action, Interferència 01, presented during Barcelona’s La Mercè Festival 2024, received the 2025 Critics’ Award for Best Street Performance. Subsequently, Interferència 02 launched the Barcelona Grec Festival from the base of the Arc de Triomf, and Interferència 03 opened the 45th edition of FiraTàrrega 2025. That same year, he presented Prefaci Ací, a large-scale inflatable installation.

Teatres de Campanya_Interferència documentada: Trajecte audiovisual del primer rocam is a commission by Marc Salicrú to Jordi Boquet about the 3rd action at FiraTàrrega: an incursion by the Brigades of Popular Confusion before thousands. A city concert with over 350 participants (bands, firefighters, buses…) that shattered urban liturgy into a procession toward collective ecstasy.
