The Beauty of Errors explores the evolving bond between a father and son. As years pass, their closeness grows. But when Henri chooses a life with his girlfriend, Tero must learn to face his world alone. Loneliness is just around the corner, and he has to stand by himself, while facing the universal fear of losing love.

Kärkkäinen takes us to rural Finland to explore masculinity, family, and alcoholism. More than fifteen years after The Living Room of a Nation, where he portrayed the characters for the first time, he reintroduces them now through everyday scenes full of humor and melancholy, revealing the small details that weave this father-son relationship at a time of change, when we witness that time does not stop.
