Jordi Boquet

Jordi Boquet Claramunt (1994) is a film director and screenwriter. He began his studies at EMAV (School of Audiovisual Media of Barcelona), later moving to ESCAC (Catalonia School of Film and Audiovisuals), where he graduated in 2018 with a specialization in directing.

His first short film as director and co-writer, Ni oblit, ni perdó (2019), won the Gaudí Award from the Catalan Film Academy for Best Short Film in 2021. In 2023, he directed his second short film, El tren de l’alegria, and in 2025 he directed the second unit of the series Delta for TV3 and À Punt.

He is currently preparing Riure, his first feature film as director and co-writer, scheduled to be shot in March 2027.

Teatres de Campanya_Interferència documentada: Trajecte audiovisual del primer rocam is a commission by Marc Salicrú to Jordi Boquet about the 3rd action at FiraTàrrega: an incursion by the Brigades of Popular Confusion before thousands. A city concert with over 350 participants (bands, firefighters, buses…) that shattered urban liturgy into a procession toward collective ecstasy.
