Joan Torrents i Puigvert, born in 1966, has been a director at TV3 for the past 20 years. He began as an editor and camera operator on the program Thalassa for four years, and later worked in the New Formats department at TV3, where he directed from 2005 documentary series such as Mares, Camp contrari, Terreny personal, and No serà fàcil, as well as programs like Disculpin les molèsties, El got d’aigua, and QuèQuiCom. Since 2021, he has been working in the documentary department, where he has directed Àngel Casas, tal com raja, Torna la Trinca, and the documentary series Murs de silenci. Gran Escala 2000.
