Gala Hernández López

Gala Hernández López is an artist, filmmaker and researcher. Her work critically analyses new modes of subjectivation produced by computational capitalism and has been presented at international festivals and institutions such as Cannes, Berlinale, Rotterdam, IDFA, DOK Leipzig, Cinéma du Réel, SEMINCI, Sarajevo, Vancouver, IndieLisboa, Berlinische Galerie, Palais de Tokyo, Punto de Vista, Dokufest, Transmediale, FRAC Île-de-France, and Curtas Vila do Conde, among others. Her film La Méchanique des fluides won the César for Best Documentary Short Film in 2024.
