Albert Kuhn

Albert Kuhn is a filmmaker who combines personal memory and archival research to explore silence, guilt and transgenerational history. His short film Dreams for a Better Past (2025) reflects this approach, intertwining the story of a family with a broader reflection on how the unsaid continues to mark us. In addition to his film work, Kuhn has participated in international co-productions and has taught as a guest lecturer at the Netherlands Film Academy, ESCAC, and Sahara Cinema School.
