More than twenty documentary filmmakers will visit DocsBarcelona 2023

We love to be visited by the directors of the films that are part of the program. Sharing with them and with you the colloquiums at the Aribau Cinemas or at the CCCB, and who knows, if one of them will pick up the award at the Conclusion gala on May 27th.

This year, between May 18th and 28th, about twenty documentary filmmakers will visit us, coming to Barcelona from the Czech Republic, Russia, Colombia, Estonia, Poland, Georgia or Hungary. The program of the twenty-sixth edition of DocsBarcelona includes the latest works of great filmmakers, such as Vitaly Mansky or Helena Třeštíková, as well as a window to new international talent, with debutants such as Anna Hints, director of the opening film, Smoke Sauna Sisterhood, awarded at the Sundance Festival, or the Polish Hana Nobis, author of Polish Prayers.
