Yesterday, 20 December, the last session of the DocsBarcelona Lab Campus, the annual lab for projects in development, took place. The fifth edition featured online sessions, as well as a series of face-to-face sessions before the DocsBarcelona Festival with exclusive activities for Campus participants.

The closing ceremony coincided with the announcement of the winning projects of the different awards:

• DocsBarcelona Award:

Access to the Speed Meetings of the DocsBarcelona Industry 2024 festival.

• 'El Testigo', by Pere Salom.

• Pitch Lab + Assembly extension grant Award

Awarded to five projects and consists of participation in the Pitch Lab session in front of documentary sector professionals during DocsBarcelona 2024. In addition, the winning projects have access to four editing consultancies tutored by Ariadna Ribas and Ivan Guarnizo.

• The five selected projects are:
• 1 - 'Alexina B', by Alexis Borràs Izquierdo and Pau Cruanyes
• 2 – 'Cuando tu no estás', by Marta Sellart and Pol Picas
• 3 – 'Ana e mais nós', by María Yáñez and Analía Gonzalez Alonso
• 4 – 'Madame Consuelo', by Silvia Rey Canudo and Alexander Lemus Gadea
• 5 – 'Raíces', by Alejandra Ramos and Carlos Céspedes

• Distribution and sales Grant Award

Two projects are selected to be awarded three sessions of sales and distribution assistance. These projects will be selected at a later stage to allow room for them to reach a more advanced stage of development.

The call for the sixth edition of the DocsBarcelona Campus is open until January 29th, along with the other DocsBarcelona Industry calls.
