DocsBarcelona International Documentary Film Festival is proud to announce the appointment of Èric Motjer as its new Head of Industry and Training. With his extensive experience in the film and documentary industry, Èric brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise that will further reinforce the festival's commitment to fostering collaboration and innovation in the world of documentary filmmaking.
In his new role, Èric Motjer will oversee the strategic development and management of the DocsBarcelona Industry activities as well as DocsBarcelona training programme. This includes the festival's popular Public Pitch, workshops, masterclasses, and networking events, which have become essential platforms for connecting documentary filmmakers, producers, and commissioning editors from around the globe.

Èric joins DocsBarcelona with an important background in the non-fiction industry, having worked in various capacities, including as a producer, and festival director and programmer. His deep understanding of the non-fiction landscape and his passion for supporting emerging talent make him a valuable addition to the festival team.
