Synopsis

Crystal Bear Award i Teddy Award a Berlinale 2022.

Reviews

'Alis' is a sensitive and generous act, which puts the safeguarding of its subjects ahead of its own desires to tell a compelling story – which, incidentally, it also does with aplomb.

— Tara Judah · Screen Daily

'Alis' is a documentary that needs to be experienced. Watching the young girls tell their stories is heartbreaking at moments. Knowing that they are telling you what they are going through is very brave of the young girls.

— Victor · Fandads

'Alis' is extremely difficult to watch at times but it’s a rewarding and life-affirming experience.

— Rob Adalm · Backseat Mafia

'Alis' relies on the frankness and purity, the naturalness and expressive power of young faces to give an overwhelming impetus to its message of hope despite some of the related terrible events, suffered by these girls on the streets of the Colombian capital.

— Alfonso Rivera · Cineuropa
