The documentary producers' association ProDocs, will present at DocsBarcelona the most comprehensive in-depth analysis of Spanish documentaries to date.
Prepared by PROA (Federation of Audiovisual Producers) and Gusano Films, the study includes information on film titles, years of production, production companies involved, budget, financing and audience, among other data. This corpus will help both the audiovisual industry and the public administration to understand the state of the genre and to make decisions to promote this type of productions.
The DocsBarcelona festival will present the main conclusions of this in-depth study of the documentary sector, which have been collected in the report "Challenges and opportunities of the documentary film produced in Spain: 2015-2020". The presentation will be given by Jorge Caballero.
