Description

Music amplifies and explains image in the most emotional sense. It helps to create and reinforce certain atmospheres to give the viewer a sense of reality in some scenes and situations. Soundtracks also help to create the right atmosphere for the development of the action, but in order to create an optimal soundtrack, a set of circumstances are required that are limited by production elements: production contexts, budgets and timing, experience of the creators, copyrights, different and unknown musical resources, the wishes and realities of the authors and professionals involved in the production. A good musical foresight and supervision can facilitate the production of good documentary content, avoiding creative biases and bringing quality to the final product.
This presentation will be of a practical nature by going through real cases of documentary productions that had to overcome various challenges with music at the core of conflict and resolution.
