Saudde Cevallos

Ecuador (1974). Audiovisual editor. She graduated from the International Film and TV School of San Antonio de los Baños EICTV 1999, Cuba.

Since 2000 she has been working as an editor and postproduction coordinator in different film projects in Barcelona, Madrid and Latin America. Some of these films have been selected at film festivals such as the International Festival of New Latin American Cinema in Havana, ICARO Film Festival in Guatemala, ALBA FILMTAGE Film Showcase in Austria, Venice Art Biennale 2022. Since 2018 she has been working at TUKURIFILMS (Barcelona), a post-production management company for film distributors. She is also a founding member of the Catalan Association of Film Editors (AMMAC by its Catalan acronym).

As a lecturer she works at the International Film and TV School of San Antonio de los Baños (Cuba), at the Feminist Laboratory of Documentary Creation at La Bonne Centre de Cultura Francesca Bonnemaison (Barcelona) and at the laboratory of documentary projects with Afro-Ibero-American themes Filma Afro Cartagena (Colombia).

As a jury member, she was a member of the selection committee for the ICCA 2017 Call in the category “Production and post-production of short fiction or documentary film”; post-production of feature fiction or documentary film at Ecuador 018; and of Nuestro Norte es Sur Award for best documentary delivered by the multi-state TELESUR at the International Festival of New Latin American Cinema in Havana, 2014. Since 2018 she has been part of the organization of the Ecuadorian Film Festival in Spain, LINEA IMAGINARIA.
