Raquel Marques

Non-fiction filmmaker, specialized in picture pedagogy and film education from a feminist perspective. She is the author of Tiempos de deseo (2020), premiered at DocLisboa and L'Alternativa, and awarded at the Alcances Documentary Film Festival; Arreta (2016), premiered at the Barcelona International Women’s Film Festival and awarded at the Zinegoak Festival; A Casa que eu quero (2010), selected to represent Portugal in Doc Europa II; as well as several short films, among them Vecines (2017), a collective piece by Laboratorio Reversible. She co-manages educational training projects in audiovisual language at Drac Màgic, and she is content coordinator at the Women’s Observatory for media.
