Priya Woods

Priya Woods is a half Indian, half Scottish filmmaker born and raised in south London. Through her dad’s battles with addiction and after growing up in the foster care system, she became very interested in the power and importance of social documentary. She has worked in various roles in factual TV in the UK, before winning a place on the OTOXO Productions Into Industry Programme for Documentary Directors. Still, Life is her first short film, which she is developing into a feature film.
