Miquel Curanta

Expert in Cultural Management, Technology, Media, Marketing, Audiovisual creativity and advertising, Content management, Communication, Radio and television production, Business Intelligence, and ICT systems.

He is currently the director of the Catalan Institute of Cultural Enterprises, an institution within the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya that works for the development and consolidation of the cultural sector, supporting companies and cultural professionals. The ICEC also manages the Filmoteca de Catalunya (film library) and the Santa Mònica Arts Center. In addition, the ICEC is a patron and founding member of the Foundation Sitges International Film Festival of Catalonia, a member of the consortium and representative of the Generalitat de Catalunya at Fira de Tàrrega and a member of the Parc Audiovisual de Catalunya. The ICEC also participates as a protective partner of the company Avalis and is a founding member of the Consortium for the rehabilitation of theaters in Barcelona.

He has previously worked as the director of the company Club Català de Cultura (Club TR3SC), he was a founding member of the production company Creativa Audiovisual, he was a producer and advertising creative at Cadena SER, and deputy director of Ona Catalana radio broadcaster.
