Meri Collazos is an audiovisual director and producer with a degree in Audiovisual Communication from Pompeu Fabra University. She began her career as a television journalist and programme director, and then went on to study for a Master's degree in Intercultural Communication and Media through a prestigious Fullbright scholarship, focusing on community storytelling. She has taught digital storytelling workshops at the University of Maryland and has collaborated with producers in Spain, in particular co-writing and editing documentaries with Joan López Lloret. Her directorial debut in RESPIRA, MAMA produced by Alba Sotorra, combines journalism and storytelling to address climate change through a personal lens, where she brings together multiple expert voices that call for healthier environments.
