Mariona Bruzzo (Barcelona, 1966) has a degree in Image and Sound, a university degree in Art History and a master's degree in Museography and Museology. Since 2013 she is the Head of the Conservation and Restoration Center of the Filmoteca de Catalunya, with the mission to conserve and disseminate the Film Collection. She participates in numerous projects and meetings, such as Y-Media-Cities, of the EU, to develop digital tools that facilitate the use of film heritage to researchers; she has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Association of European Cinematheques, ACE; she has been responsible for the editions of the DVDs of the Filmoteca, such as Segundo de Chomón or Llobet Gracia; she was co-curator of the Chomón Year, and in 2022 she has initiated the project of digitization of the Catalan cinema.
