Maite Alberdi

Maite Alberdi was born in 1983 in Chile. She studied Film and Aesthetics at Universidad Católica de Chile. She has developed a highly particular style that achieves an intimate portrayal of the characters she works with, through everyday stories in small-scale worlds. Her first feature documentary, El Salvavidas (2011), won DocsBarcelona 2013 New Talent Award among several international awards.
