Lilit Movsisyan graduated from Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinematography with honors in 2009 with her film Voiceless. In 2011, a short clip she filmed was featured in the opening sequence of Ridley Scott’s documentary Life In A Day. In 2012, her short Me Too won three prizes at the Syracuse International Film Festival and in 2013, her feature, Caucho, received six nominations at the National Cinema Awards of Armenia and won Best Actress. In 2015, Movsisyan was selected as a Talent in Sarajevo. Her latest short, The Trial, was in competition at GAIFF 2019. Currently she is working on the production of a documentary film Fight, which has been selected for the EurasiaDoc co-production forum, and on the development of the feature-film Elena Cake. Movsisyan participated in GAIFF Pro C2C Market 2019, EurasiaDoc screenwriting workshop 2019, GAIFF Pro C2C Market 2018, EAVE on Demand: Producer’s workshop 2018, and Talents Sarajevo 2015
