Josep Morell

Journalist and member of the founding team of Catalunya Ràdio in 1983. He works in radio and written press. In 1992 he joined the team of the CAPA Agency in Barcelona. With five other partners, he founded La Quimera, where for ten years he produced and directed documentaries, formats for programs and series for TVE (Historia sobre ruedas, Climas Extremos), Cuatro, Canal +, TV3, Barcelona Televisió and the Catalan network of local television stations. For Televisió de Catalunya, he has worked directing documentaries for the program Sense Ficció. In 2015 he created the production company Ottokar, and co-directed the documentary No puedo volver a casa, a portrait of the bureaucratic hell faced by political refugees who want to enter Spain, and the documentary Los hombres del silencio for TVE and TV3. He received a National ONDAS Television Award in 2018.
