Hugo Jinseok Kang

Since 2021, Jinseok Kang has been the DMZ International Documentary Film Festival's (DMZ Docs) programmer. Before that, he lectured on filmmaking and cinema history at multiple universities, including Korea National University of Arts, Dankook University, and served as a producer of several documentaries, including Exile Trilogy series (directed by Soyoung Kim). He holds degrees in film theory and visual anthropology from the Korea National University of Arts (Karts) and the Freie Universität Berlin, respectively.
