Estephan Wagner

Estephan Wagner has been directing and editing documentaries for more than two decades. Of Chilean/German origin, he has lived in Copenhagen for 14 years, where he maintains close ties with Final Cut for Real, a 5-time Oscar-nominated production company. He graduated from NFTS (National Film School of England).
His films have won awards at renowned festivals such as Berlinale, IDFA and CPH:DOX. His most recent works include Songs of Repression, Les Sauteurs, Two strangers trying not to kill each other and Daughter of Genghis. He is the editor and co-writer of this last film, which has been selected for DocsBarcelona 2024.
