Elena Zervopoulou

Coming from a background of ethnopsychologist (Masters in Clinical Cross-Cultural Psychology from the University of Paris 5), she has worked in Paris with immigrant families and as a consultant at UNESCO, with street children in Madagascar.
With a Masters in Anthropological and Documentary filmmaking (trained by Jean Rouch’s crew in the Nanterre University of Paris), her academy film is projected in 2004 at the «The International Ethnographical Film Festival», in Paris.
Since 2006, she has produced, directed, filmed and edited creative documentaries and has made videos for International NGOs (shot in S.E Asia, Europe and Africa).
She runs PV workshops with unprivileged youth to enhance social activism at the grass-roots level, as well as develops and creates cross-media, educational ineractive projects.
