Elda Isavelina Ortiz Rivas

Is an artist, filmmaker and teacher. He grew up in the semi-desert Zacatecano (MEX) and currently lives in Barcelona. Degree in Philosophy and Degree in Visual Arts both from the Autonomous University of Zacatecas. He took a master's degree in Theory and Practice of Creative Documentary at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Co-founder of the independent contemporary art space Tiempo Compartido. Founder and director of Hermenauta Estudio-Laboratorio, an audiovisual and film production laboratory. Founder of Sindicata, a female collective of film, video and photography workers.
She works at the intersections between art, research and education. The projects she carries out are experimentations around chaos, conducting documentary research on creative-cognitive processes in the arts and philosophy.
