David Fernández de Castro

David Fernández de Castro (London, 1969) is a scriptwriter and director. He is especially interested in social, historical and political issues, which he handles with both rigor and emotion, thanks to his ability to empathize with the characters. He has directed and co-directed the documentaries Priorat (Nominated for a Gaudí Award in 2016, Festival Memorimage, and Most Festival), Ajoblanco Crónica en Rojo y Negro (Spanisches Filmfest Berlin 2015), Entre el Cielo y la Tierra (FICAMS 2014) and El Papus, Anatomía de un Atentado (2010).
