Albert Solé worked for years as a reporter specializing in social and international issues. In 2008 he created the production company Minimal Films and directed his first documentary: Bucarest, la memòria perduda (Goya 2009). He has produced and directed documentaries such as Al final de l'escapada, Els records glaçats, Miró contra Miró, Examen de consciència, Retorn a Raqqa, Les mil vides de Jorge Semprún, among others. His work has been recognized with several film awards. He is currently the president of Prodocs and vice-president of Proa.
