Ada Ushpiz is a renowned Israeli film producer and director. She graduated in Philosophy and History from Tel Aviv University, and she worked as a journalist for a long time, specializing in politics. She has directed several documentaries in recent years, such as Detained (2001), Bloody Engagement (2004), Desert Brides (2008) and Good Garbage (2012). In 2015, she directed Vita Activa, The Spirit of Hannah Arendt, an intimate portrait of Hannah Arendt. Children (2020) is her latest work.
