Gena, an LGBTIQ+ artist from a small town in Russia, dresses in otherworldly costumes made of scrap metal and duct tape, and protests against the government on the streets of Moscow. Born and raised on the harsh streets of Magadan, an icy part of the former Soviet gulag, Gena is only 21. She organises radical public performances that become a new form of art and activism. In doing so, she wants to change people's perceptions of beauty and homosexuality, and draw attention to the harassment faced by the LGBTQ+ community.
