DocsBarcelona Talents is a talent development support program, dedicated to contribute to their professional career in the field of non-fiction. The goal is to provide a platform for emerging creators, offering them multiple opportunities for mentorship, networking and professional development.
For the first time, DocsBarcelona Talents selects a total of 8 individuals who show exceptional potential in key disciplines such as directing, editing and cinematography. We are looking for storytellers with fresh, new perspectives and a willingness to explore the boundaries of documentary filmmaking.
Thus, DocsBarcelona distinguishes 8 Talents for their potential creative perspective in the field of non-fiction. Our mission is to equip them with the skills through mentorship, networking opportunities and prepare them to complete the production of their project.
Beyond DocsBarcelona, where the Talents program kicks off, throughout the year we hold other satellite events across the country. These initiatives serve as creative laboratories for the Talents where they develop skills and receive advice from different top professionals.
