In this conversation, Lina Soualem, director of Palestinian origin and author of Bye Bye Tiberias, and Samira Badram, visual artist of Palestinian origin resident in Barcelona will discuss the paths that artistic creation can take when it dialogues with the current situation of resistance of the Palestinian people. How can the intersection between violence, exile, identity and memory be represented? How is the individual and collective memory of a territory in eternal conflict portrayed? What role does the intimate, first-person voice play? The session will be moderated by Heidi Ramírez, programmer at DocsBarcelona, photographer and artist.
