Arthur Franck

Director

Arthur Franck, was born in Helsinki 1980 and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree. He made his first short film Heil, myself! when he was 10 years old. He forced his little brother to play the lead role as Adolf Hitler. After this painful experience, as he qualifies it, he didn’t make another film for over 15 years. In 2004 he felt in love with creative nonfiction filmmaking, and he has not looked back since. He is chasing the nonfiction dragon for the last 15 years, and although it is a hard and challenging path, he feels as inspired as ever. The Hypnotist is his feature-documentary debut.
