Constel·lació Comelade

A craftsman of melody, a postmodern classic, an experimental composer, and a miniaturist of rock ... Pascal Comelade cannot be defined in one term, and neither can his music. Travel and creation companions such as Pau Riba, Jaume Sisa and Miquel Barceló, among others form a harmonious constellation that closely reveals the peculiar Comelade musical universe.

At the crossroads of musical and cultural worlds, his works form an irreducible and prolific ensemble, in constant process of construction. In love with his adopted city, the pre-Olympic roguish Barcelona of the 80s, Pascal Comelade has been performing around the world for over 40 years. Last year, however, the man with the "paused outburst" decided to step down. Through interviews with the musician and excerpts from his performances, this documentary brings us closer to his "instrumental galaxy" and makes us privileged witnesses to his creative process, whether alone or with others. Far from being a tribute to the career of a retired artist, despite him not holding concerts anymore, the Comelade universe continues to be endless, in constant growth and progress.
